Products - Card/Kit Package Fulfillment

Laser Printing of Letters/Carriers
Letters / carriers can be laser printed in-line or off-line. In-line carriers can only be done in black ink and are limited to 8.5” x 11” only. Off-line we can laser and fold virtually any sized under 11” x 17”. CPS only lasers prints in-house at this time to insure we give our customers the best quality possible. We can print variable text throughout the letter. Note that we recommend registering variable information in one direction only, either horizontally or vertically. We can fold off-line or on-line in a variety of sizes and formats. Programming options are very versatile and include CASS and NCOA processing. CPS can hand sort in house for better discounts on larger mailings, can presort using our indicia, or presort using the customers indicia. Standard, non-profit, and first class mailings are available.

Card Attaching and Matching
Making sure the card and the letter match each other is of critical importance to you and CPS. That’s why we employ a variety of solutions to meet the varied needs of our customers. We typically print a barcode on the letter / carrier, and match something on the card to that information. The card may have a mag stripe we can swipe and extract matching data from, or it could have a barcode we can scan to get data. We can also use cameras for matching. Our cameras are optimized to read barcodes, numbers, names, almost anything you will find on a card and a carrier. Usually, we can read either the top or the bottom of the card or carrier.

Inserting
CPS uses standard swing arm inserting technology for its mailers. We can insert a carrier and 5 other items. Our automation process is very fast, and our double insert detection systems insure we don’t double mail an inserted item.

Mailing or Bulk Preparation
Our fulfillment group are experts in saving our customers money on their postal costs and insuring we send your product the best way possible to maximize turn time while minimizing costs. We can set up a direct billing with the post office, work the postage through an in-house account, or most anyway you would like it to work.

Card Personalization
We have the widest range of card personalization solutions available. They all can be used on bulk card solutions, or in combination with an ongoing fulfillment program or one-time reissue. Our extraordinary capacity allows us to run the largest jobs in the shortest possible time frames. Embossing is available in 1 to 6 lines depending on the card material and the plant that it is run in. We can run over 500M cards per day through our 50 embossing machines. Thermal printing comes in a wide variety of colors and can be run in combination with encoding on our 65 thermal printing machines. We also have 17 machines which are duplex capable, some of which can run different colors in one pass, apply an overlay, or put a scratch-off over a PIN number, all at the same time. Our Drop-on-Demand inkjet printing is the most up-to-date form of card personalization in the industry. We have four high speed DOD printers one of which can do duplex printing. The capacity of the four machines is well over 1MM cards per day. They also have the ability to apply labels on the fly, scratch off over PIN’s, or attach to a non-personalized carrier. The DOD printers can also print on paper, or attach mag stripes to paper or plastic cards.

B2B Cards
Retailers are often asked to sell gift cards to other companies as gifts or rewards for their employees. CPS Cards has a solution! We can take electronic or paper input and ship a variable number of cards next day back to the retailer or its customer. These orders can be highly automated with confirming emails containing order status and shipping information.

B2C Cards– Internet Based Fulfillment for the Consumer
CPS is now one of the only companies in the US with the capability of sending a gift card with a totally personalized greeting card to a consumer on demand. We have the backend engine to print four color process on a greeting card from a large selection of stock images. We can take variable information from the consumer including photographs and totally personalize the images and copy. The cards can be pre-personalized in bulk or personalized on the fly. All orders are followed by a confirmation file, shipping data, and / or email verification of shipping.

B2Store: Pick, Pack, and Ship
Many Retailers are often stuck with wondering how to distribute gift cards, track those shipments, and create reorder points that allow for efficient processing of SKU reorders. We have a solution. In the past, we have processed over 40 million cards per year through our warehouses, distributing cards to stores and distribution centers on demand. Our software and reporting systems are time tested. We have extraordinary experience with large freight shipments, as well as shipping and receiving individual store packages.
